A former French Post office. A town in GREECE (HELLAS), on the coast of Aegean Sea. The
French Post Office (within the Turkish Empire - 'Levant') operated in Port Lagos
from 1874 using stamps of FRANCE until 1893, when overprints on French stamps
appeared and were issued only in that year. The Post Office was closed in 1898.
